Mr. Pedersen has developed property in Michigan, Arizona and Colorado and has most recently been involved with creating an eight acre mixed use project in Northglenn, CO, a ten acre, one-hundred thirty-five thousand square foot mixed use project in Louisville, CO and a fourteen acre commercial project in Grandville, MI.

Tenants included in Mr. Pedersen’s projects include Walgreens, Rite Aid, Osco Drugs, Sherwin Williams, Atlanta Bread, Standard Federal Bank, TCF Bank, Men’s Wearhouse, AT&T, EB Games, La-Z-Boy Furniture, Lamar’s Donuts, Comcast Cable, Grease Monkey, IHOP, Jiffy Lube, American Express and others.

Overway + Pedersen Architects is a multi-discipline architectural firm founded in San Francisco by Chad R. Overway in 1989. O+P has offices in San Francisco and Denver, with partner Jeffrey G. Pedersen managing the Denver office.

The firm’s work is diverse, building types include hotels and resorts, religious structures, schools, commercial and institutional buildings, single and multi-family residential. Our designs have been completed throughout the United States as well as internationally.

We provide a full range of services including programming, planning, site analysis, design, interior design, project administration and management, presentation skills (i.e. rendering, model making) and post occupancy services.

Our goal in practicing architecture is to design with simplicity and clarity. To provide a unique and innovative solution that exceeds the expectations and goals of our client, with an emphasis on budget and time.

Each project begins with an understanding of local and regional influences and site conditions, which become apart of that projects vernacular. Our philosophy is to respond to that vernacular and the program and cultural aspects of the project, rather than express a preconceived or fashionable solution.

We strive to work closely with our consultants throughout all phases of a project to insure a final product that thoughtfully and efficiently incorporates all required systems and components, It is this cooperation that has led us to work with the same consultants on numerous projects and establish long-term working relationships.
