A computerized flat line finishing system has been recently installed to apply clear and solid finishes. Most flat work is processed in this manor resulting in increased production while maintaining a more consistent final product. Aside from quality and production the machine reclaims 75% of its over sprayed paint. This reduces the amount of finishing material used thus reducing our overall paint requirements. In doing this our waste is also significantly reduced, reducing our paint waste disposal and the amounts of solvents released into the air.
A conventional spray room is in place to handle larger items and small quantity items along with samples. Our finishing department has the capability of delivering a high quality finish on any material from a major production run to a single piece furniture.
Cutting Department:
A 12 ft. wide computerized panel saw was installed along side conventional saws to handle the continuing increase in cutting requirements. Cutting programs may be generated in the front office or at the machine itself. These programs are optimized with software programs that reduce waste and also speed the cutting process. Machines of this caliber not only increase production but also bring a higher level of accuracy to our industry.
CNC Department:
Currently there are four axis machines in our milling area. The machines are capable of routing, drilling, cutting and grooving. Most of our product components are processed on these machines. Miter folded components are also made on these machines to create a strong clean finished product. The CNC machines are very accurate and create consistent product. This allows us to manufacture the same product at a later date and feel comfortable that it will match the first run items.
Along with cabinet components these machines will panel process finished panels of laminate to custom laid up veneers into slat wall and other flat panel parts
Engineering Department:
Our engineering department is capable of taking your conceptual design drawings and creating detailed cad drawings for your presentation and our manufacturing process. All fixtures are drawn and detailed using the latest CAD software. We can start with your CAD drawings or hard lined drawings and generate what is needed for the project
Our shop drawings are then used to write the programs for our CNC machines using CAD-CAM software. This insures a highly accurate finished product with repeatability at any given time.
This department is also responsible for project management of your order from its conception to delivery and can include installation.
