Make Your Own Safari Puppets!

You can make your own Savings Safari hand puppets at home, using things you probably already have around the house!
It’s easy, and all you need is:

Materials:

Paper lunch bags
Construction paper in lots of colors
Black markers
Glue stick
Scissors

Directions:

If you put your hand inside your paper lunch bag, you’ll see how the bottom folds over and makes the face and mouth of your puppet. Now it’s time for the fun part!

Cut out pieces of construction paper to make eyes, ears, noses, and whiskers (for Wally the lion of course!), glue them on, and then use your markers to add any finishing touches.

To make a pointed nose for one of your puppets, just fold under and glue two corners of the bottom of the bag.

Have fun putting on your very own Safari puppet show!
